ORDER OF THE KU KLUX KLAN
A TRUE FIRST ERA KLAN
The United Knights of Tennessee, Order of the Ku Klux Klan, was founded in 1867 by charter, granted by John B. Kennedy, ( Grand Magi ), and Frank O. McCord, (Grand Cyclops). In April 1867, we sent two representatives to the first Konclave in Nashville, TN. The two representatives were sent as delegates for General Robert E. Lee, but switched to vote for General Nathan Bedford Forrest, as Robert Lee would not take Grand Wizard due to his health. After the disbandment order of 1869 and again in 1877, the Den continued its work regardless, as this was allowed for any Dens with unfinished business. In 1886, the remaining Dens in upper Tennessee formed into one Klan group once more and their name set as United Knights of Tennessee Ku Klux Klan.
The United Knights of Tennessee, Order of the Ku Klux Klan, exist today, despite any objections to history of Klan being disbanded, and are finally coming online due to what we see happening to the rest of the Klan's today and realize we needed to make a stand. Normally, we have remained Silent all of these years, as we have a very large membership already and do not seek for more, unless they are worthy of our Brotherhood or of the Confederation of Klan.
We are also one of the founding members of the Confederation of Klan, in 1952, with 16 Klan organizations or more within our ranks. Further information on joining the Confederation will be provided if you contact us at uktkkkhq@yahoo.com, which is the only official location to join.
WE, the Order of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, reverentially acknowledge the majesty and supremacy of the Divine Being, and recognize the goodness and providence of the same.
WE recognize our relation to the government of the United States of America, the supremacy of its Constitution, the Union of States thereunder, and the Constitutional Laws thereof, and we shall be devoted to the sublime principles of a pure Americanism and valiant in the defense of its ideals and institutions.
WE avow the distinction between the races of mankind, so same has been decreed by the Creator, and we shall ever be true in the faithful maintenance of White Supremacy and will strenuously oppose any compromise thereof in any and all things.
WE appreciate the intrinsic value of a real practical fraternal relationship among men of kindred thought, purpose and ideals and the infinite benefits accrue-able therefrom, and we shall faithfully devote ourselves to the practice of an honorable Klannishness, that the life and living of each may be a constant blessing to others.
THE KLANSMAN'S KREED
Our God, we as Klansmen acknowledge our dependence on You and Your loving kindness toward us. May our gratitude be full and constant and inspire us to walk in Your Ways. Let us never forget that each Klansman, by his conduct and spirit
determines his own destiny, good or bad. May he forsake the bad and strive for the good as truly as being in the image of God. Keep us in the powerful bond and fraternal Union of Klannish fidelity toward one another and devoted loyalty to this, our great Klan movement. Let us remember that the crowning glory of a Klansman is to serve his race, his community, his nation and his own high principles. God save our Race and help us to be free people, masters of our own destiny.
THE CROSS
Out of the wonderful story of the sacred pages of this old BOOK DIVINE comes the sad sweet story of CALVARY'S rugged but HOLY CROSS. This old cross is a SYMBOL of SACRIFICE AND SERVICE, and a sign of the CHRISTIAN FAITH. Sanctified and made holy nearly nineteen centuries ago by the suffering and blood of fifty million martyrs who died in the most holy faith, and it stands in every Klavern of the United Knights of Tennessee, Order of the Ku Klux Klan Inc., as a constant reminder that CHRIST is our criterion of character, and HIS teachings our rule of life-blood-bought, holy, sanctified and sublime.
It was once a sign of ignominy, disgrace and shame, but being bathed in the blood of the lowly Nazarene, it has been transformed into a symbol of FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE. It inspired the Crusaders of the Middle Ages in their perilous efforts to rescue the HOLY LAND from the Heathen Turks; and is today being used to rally the forces of Christianity against the ever increasing hoards of anti-Christ; and the enemies of the principles of pure
Americanism.
We have added the fire to signify that "CHRIST IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD." As light drives away the darkness and gloom, so a knowledge of the truth dispels ignorance and superstition. As fire purifies gold, silver and precious stones, but destroys the dross, wood, hay and stubble; so by the fire of Calvary's Cross we mean to purify and cleanse our virtues by burning out our vices and the fire of HIS SWORD. Who can look upon this sublime symbol, or sit in its sacred, holy light, without being inspired with a holy desire and determination to be a better man? "BY THIS SIGN WE CONQUER."
